Crab Claw Island

Person dining beachside with tropical backdrop and seafood plates at H on Mitchell

Crab Claw Island is a magnificent part of the Northern Territory located on the Cox Peninsula, just 135km southwest of Darwin by road or 35km by air. Truly unique, it is an island accessible by road except on extreme high tides. Crab Claw Island is home to Crab Claw Island Resort – a complex of elevated cabins overlooking a white sandy beach connected by walkways through the trees, refreshing swimming pools, an open-air restaurant and bar with views across the harbour, shady camp sites, private boat ramp to access the fabulous fishing, all surrounded by wildlife and pristine natural beauty.
